I recently embarked on a complete kitchen renovation and chose the higher-end Hockley range from Howdens. From the outset, my expectations were high, and I am pleased to say Howdens delivered magnificently. The kitchen is stunning, and the final product is nothing short of amazing. I sourced my own installer, and the result is a perfect blend of design and craftsmanship. The design process was handled by Connor from the West Swindon store. Connor's expertise and communication skills were evident throughout the process. He provided insightful guidance and support, ensuring the design met all my needs and expectations. Additionally, Malcolm assisted with some final tweaks before placing the order, and his contributions were equally valuable. Though there were some issues with delivery and a few unexpected challenges along the way, Howdens excelled in resolving these to my satisfaction. Their commitment to customer service was apparent in how they handled each situation. While communication occasionally faltered due to external factors such as a workshop redesign, staff absence, and management changes, these were understandable setbacks. The overall experience was greatly positive, thanks to their proactive approach to problem-solving. Special recognition is due to Richard Barnes, the store manager, whose leadership and dedication ensured that my experience remained positive despite the challenges. His team’s commitment to delivering excellent service was clear throughout the project. Reflecting on the entire process, I can confidently say that Howdens’ customer service is second to none. Large projects like a kitchen renovation are inherently complex, and it’s inevitable that not everything will go as planned. However, it’s Howdens’ attitude towards addressing and resolving issues that sets them apart as a market leader. Even though I consider myself a demanding customer with high expectations, I have full faith in Howdens' services. They demonstrated a remarkable ability to not only meet but exceed customer expectations. I highly recommend Howdens for their exceptional service and dedication to customer satisfaction. I will certainly turn to them again for any future home improvement projects.

5 stars is simply not enough for howdens - Swindon west, having a new kitchen is extremely stressful however howdens west made everything stress free! From my initial call with John, my design appointment with Connor and my dealing's with the staff stu and Tarlia in the office, it was a pleasure. I went for the Clerkenwell range - very impressed with the build quality and in the words of the fitter (you can't go wrong with howdens!) I didn't realise but I had a non universal sink from my previous kitchen I wanted to use however it wasn't possible, in a bit of panic as this was meant to be fitted that day I rang and spoke to the team and luckily for me they had the sink and tap I wanted in stock! I don't tend to write reviews however I couldn't not with the service I received, everyone went above and beyond to help! Overall I can't recommend Swindon West enough and I wouldn't hesitate in going back for another! Thank you - Swindon West.

I ordered 4 stay white internal doors. The delivered items were wrong, replacements were sent, which were wrong again. Again replacements were sent and now the colour was wrong and subsequently the stay white doors are no longer available. I asked for a full refund on the doors which I received. I got the doors I wanted from B and Q.
