Glover Stone

I messaged several places asking about cutting some granite worktop and most either didn’t respond or replied saying they don’t do that ! Glover Stone replied quickly and made some suggestions about info they would need … then they offered to visit and see the material- which they did later that week ! What a lovely and knowledgeable bloke ! He explained what he could do and when he should be able to come back and do the job . Sure enough a week later he arrived and got the job done beautifully! All in all Glover Stone has a 20 odd years experience in granite work and has proved to be a great person to deal with ! If I could give 6 stars that wouldnt be enough!

Pete was amazing from start to finish! Very thorough, communication was fantastic! The price is very competitive also. I would 100% recommend to all! Thank you so much, the kitchen looks amazing now! ❤️

Pete did a fantastic job widening the hole in a granite worktop to fit a new cooker hob. Excellent communication and professionalism. Clean and tidy work. Very reasonable pricing. Highly recommend.

I was trying and failing to find a granite supplier who could not only supply a large slab for my new kitchen island, but also cut on site and refit my existing granite. Someone suggested that Glover Stone may be able to help, so I contacted Pete, and he has been amazingly responsive, helpful and most importantly, offered the most fantastic service. His workmanship and attention to detail is superb. I am beyond impressed with everything he and the team have done for me, and I can’t recommend them highly enough 😊

Pete and Alex did an excellent job of fitting our kitchen quartz. We bought a second hand kitchen and couldn’t really give proper measurements until the carcasses were in. They used what we had and made it fit perfectly. They even found some extra where we didn’t have anything that would fit for the up-stand. Within a day they had cut, edged and refit on site for a reasonable price. Lovely people too. Please do consider Glover Stone - can’t recommend them highly enough.

Pete did a fantastic job of refitting quartz from an ex-display kitchen and reconfiguring it to fit the placement of the units in our kitchen. He also sourced a new piece of quartz for us to fit the sink and into the window ledge. His pricing was competitive and the quality of his work was very good. The pictures show the quality of his work. His work was very tidy and good communication throughout . We’re very happy with the finished work.

From start to finish Glover Stone provided an excellent service. I contacted Pete to enquire about completing alterations to an existing granite worktop. After exchanging a couple of emails Pete provided a very reasonable estimate and a few days later came round to complete the job. He worked very efficiently and effectively, keeping me informed of progress as he went along. Both my wife and I are very happy with the end result and I would highly recommend his services.
