DS Worktops

DS Worktops is a worktop specialist based in Birmingham with over 18 years of experience in the industry. The company began by working for contractors with two fabricators and one van, and has since expanded into a large supplier of worktops in the Midlands. It offers templating, fabrication and installation of worktops. Materials supplied include solid surface, quartz, natural stone, ceramic, quartzite, wood, laminate and compact laminate. Breton CNC machines are used for precision engineering, and a team of CAD designers is employed.

Digital templating and traditional handmade cortex templating are both offered. A team of professional fitters provides nationwide coverage. Maintenance and repair services for worksurfaces are available. The company works with solid surface brands Corian, Tristone, Hi-Macs, Mistral, Durasein, Staron and Hanex, and with Silestone colours. Projects include quartz kitchens in Oxford and Leominster, Tristone surface islands in Coventry, a Mistral kitchen in Birmingham and a Tristone kitchen in Peterborough. Worktop layout options include L-shaped, straight, U-shaped and parallel kitchens.

Worktop fabrication is the thread running through the feedback, with customers describing finished surfaces as expertly made and installed to a high standard. The care taken during measuring and templating is a point that comes up often, and reviewers note that units were sized with precision before cutting began, giving confidence that the final fit would be accurate. Dean, also known as Dino, is named repeatedly for his patience and sound guidance, particularly when customers altered their design choices during the process.

Communication before and during the job draws consistent praise, covering prompt replies, samples dispatched within days and templates arranged once base units were in place. The fitting teams are described as capable and courteous, and installations were completed without long waits. Competitive pricing recurs too, with quotes comparing favourably against larger suppliers. The work spans Corian and other solid surfaces, kitchen worktops and fabrication for renovation projects. Reassurance after earlier poor experiences elsewhere is another common note, along with the impression that the team made extra effort to complete the job properly.
