Solid Surface Worktop Specialists

Solid Surface Worktop Specialists is a worktop and stone specialist based in Birmingham with over 18 years of experience in the worktop industry. The company began with two fabricators and one van working for contractors and has since expanded into a large supplier of worktops in the Midlands.

It offers worktop installation with nationwide coverage, templating services including traditional handmade cortex templating and digital templating, CAD design, CNC machining using Breton CNC machines, and maintenance and repair services for worksurfaces.

Solid surface worktop supply, preparation and fitting sits at the heart of the projects customers describe, with Corian surfaces appearing in several accounts. Craftsmanship is the quality that comes through most strongly, and reviewers repeatedly note precise cutting, neat joins and a finish without visible seams. Named individuals including Goran, David and Marko are praised for their friendliness and for the evident pride taken in their results. Guidance and expertise feature regularly, especially the advice offered when choosing between the many solid surfaces on offer.

In one case, questions were answered patiently by email before an order was placed, and the work that followed was completed to the specified dimensions. Installation is described as tidy and careful, with close attention paid during fitting, and communication before the work is another point raised. Turnaround times are reported as quick and pricing as competitive for the standard achieved. One customer explains that a task involving two separate sections needing to be joined had been turned down elsewhere, and that it was carried out here with a result exceeding what had been expected. Projects mentioned range from a kitchen table top made to exact measurements to a display kitchen requiring careful jointing.
