Poor customer service. Did not deliver any designs by 3 weeks after design appointment, and when questioned told ‘it’s just about finding the time to get yours done..’ company didn’t respond to a complaint email following this.

We chose Calllerton Kitchens to design and install our new kitchen and utility room following recommendations from our neighbours and work colleagues who had been delighted with their design, workmanship and quality. When we visited the showroom at Kingston Park we were immediately impressed with the consultation and design process coming up with different ideas and options. Peter, our designer spent several meetings with us ensuring that every aspect of the design met our needs and offered innovative solutions to maximise the overall aesthetic of the kitchen and utility spaces. This thorough attention to detail in the early stages of design was reflected in the final installation process and finished products. We had the opportunity to attend an appliance demonstration event hosted by Callerton which was very informative when planning the appliances that you might need in your new kitchen, a lot has changed with technology since our previous kitchen design experience. From a cost perspective, we found that the quotation was very competitive compared to other companies, but what sets this company apart from the others is the quality of all aspects of the design, installation, products and project management which has been exceptional. Timescale for installation was quick, less than 8 weeks, site survey visit from Graham was excellent to check and double check all design details. The project management of the process of removing the old kitchen, first fix, plastering and the start of installation was communicated really well and expertly managed by Lucy and her team, everything went to plan. All the electricians, plasterers and worktop installers were high quality and very efficient, nothing was too much trouble and very tidy. The team who installed the kitchen (Layton, Dave, John) were brilliant, a pleasure to have them in our home and they worked late on many occasions to achieve the necessary milestones. Very professional and talented craftsmen and they were always checking with us about aspects of design and installation. We are delighted with the finished kitchen and utility, so practical, well designed and the integration of technologies makes it a pleasure to be in. Peter visited after installation to ensure we were familiar with all of the new appliances and happy with the final design. I want to share just how wonderful Lucy and Ali, at Callerton, have been to my wife and I. We purchased a kitchen back in 2018, and were absolutely delighted with it. Late last year, a mysterious faint crack appeared in our Silestone worktop. Despite much investigation, it proved impossible to be certain about the root cause. An added complication was that the contractor who cut and fitted the Silestone were no longer trading. As a gesture of goodwill, Callerton replaced the worktop entirely free of charge. The kitchen looks as good as new after 8 years of use. Thankyou to all at Callerton who have been a part of the replacement process.

We have recently finished installation of our new Callerton kitchen in our self build house near Kelso and we are delighted with the result. From the first contact in their showroom in Berwick to the post installation visit they were extremely helpful and professional throughout. We had our own ideas initially and Mandy, their kitchen designer, took these sketches and produced an initial plan. She suggested a few changes, some of them fairly minor, which made a huge difference to the overall result. They were happy to supply the units, doors drawers etc and allow us to source the sink, taps and worktops which let us control the budget to a certain extent. Stacey, in the office, and Mandy were very helpful throughout and responded promptly to any additional queries. The kitchen was delivered ahead of schedule and the installation, which we undertook ourselves, was straight forward following the supplied plan and parts list. We are absolutely thrilled with the new kitchen that Callerton Kitchens have designed and produced. From start to finish they were absolutely brilliant. Michelle was very thorough during the design phase and all our requirements were met. She highlighted things that we would not have thought about , which made for a great end- product. Communication from them was above and beyond and every step was clearly explained. Dave and Layton fitted the kitchen with care and were very tidy at the end of each day. .Any concerns or questions were speedily answered too. We would highly recommend Callerton Kitchens. We can highly recommend Callerton Kitchens who have just fitted our new kitchen which we love. We had looked at other places but the thing that really pulled us in was the design service at the start which is done without any commitment to buy, but is far superior to anything else we had been offered at other companies. Peter has a real eye for using the space you have and making it work for your budget. Once we got the design ready and the worked booked in everything went really smoothly. Callerton project manage the whole thing which means they organise all of the work teams to come in in a coordinated way so that the work progresses fast and to schedule. Ours was quite a big job including knocking through into another room which isn't shown on the photos. Graeme, Dave and the rest team worked efficiently and were the most tidy workers we have ever seen. The quality of the workmanship was excellent throughout. Inevitably on a big job issues crop up, but these were always faced head on and focussed to come up with solutions that worked to our satisfaction. From our first visit to the showroom, we knew this company would be the one we would buy our kitchen from. The initial consultation with Michelle showed the priority is to deliver what the customer wants by listening carefully to their needs. Michelle’s professional approach to design was evident in subsequent visits where getting the right balance between functionality and design was paramount. With hindsight, those discussions were the key to our being so delighted with our finished Kitchen. The quality of the kitchen was also excellent, built to last!
