Steve Rees Kitchens

Steve Rees Kitchens is an independent business that has been trusted for over 35 years. It offers an all-in-one style service, with specialist areas including kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms, and home office. The company manages entire projects on behalf of clients. Its team of tradesmen can assist with fitting and installation, electrical work, plumbing, gas engineering, carpentry, tiling, and plastering. Every project is managed by Steve, who is the point of contact from start to finish.

The team includes friendly and highly experienced fitters, many of whom have been with Steve for over 30 years. Steve began his career as a building merchants' rep over 40 years ago, then moved into designing kitchens, which soon expanded to bedrooms and bathrooms. He started his own company building and installing high quality kitchens, and later expanded services to bedrooms, bathrooms, and home offices. The business consists of well over 90% referrals, and many customers have used Steve's services since the very start.

Steve Rees Kitchens draws long-standing loyalty in Cardiff, with clients returning over many years and across multiple properties for fitted bedrooms, kitchens, a home office and an attic conversion, as well as built-in cupboards, shelving, worktops, a sink and taps. Craftsmanship is a persistent theme: the finish is described as solid even in unseen areas and built to last, while the fitters are repeatedly called experienced, well drilled, courteous and tidy. Communication and professionalism feature throughout, with Steve himself portrayed as efficient, personable and genuinely enthusiastic about the work, and clients recalling that no request felt like an imposition and that they sensed they were in capable hands from the first meeting.

Charges are characterised as competitive, and the team is credited with devising fitting solutions and surpassing what was expected. Tidiness carries through to a spotless handover, and bathroom installation and broader building projects also appear. A worktop was measured, manufactured off site and then installed after the household came back from a break, a detail that reflects the organised scheduling customers describe. Fitted wardrobes and storage remain the work most often highlighted.
