Marlborough Granite

Marlborough Granite Ltd is a Glasgow-based company that has been operating for over twenty years. Allan Sutherland is a Director. The company produces over 18,000 items per year and supplies over 2,275 tonnes of stone per year. It stocks over 600 slabs. It serves residential and commercial markets in the UK and beyond. The company uses CNC and water jet technology combined with traditional hand masonry skills.

Installations are carried out by the company's own experienced fitting teams. It imports quartz from Spain, Israel, Italy and the U.S., sources marble from Spain and Italy, and sources granites from Brazil, India and South Africa. The company offers granite, quartz, marble, limestone, slate, and ultra-compact surfaces such as Dekton.

Glasgow customers repeatedly highlight the quality of the finished stonework, describing the completed surfaces as looking very good and the craftsmanship as exceptional. The initial design consultation and laser templating are mentioned often, with the team taking time to explain the process before any cutting begins. Fitting crews are described as quick, tidy and thorough, and support continues after installation, with issues followed up rather than left unresolved. Long-standing clients note that the firm has handled their stone requirements over many years and has consistently provided dependable service.

Jobs referenced in feedback include worktops, hearths and mantle tops, and one account notes that replacement pieces matched marble cut by the same company a quarter of a century earlier. Staff are characterised as professional and caring, and the process is often called smooth and stress-free from start to finish. A recurring theme is that work was completed within the expected timeframe, and the care taken over details comes through in much of the feedback. Granite and other stone surfaces for kitchens and fireplaces feature prominently in the accounts.
