Had a wonderful set of worktops installed and couldn't be happier, has completely transformed my kitchen, great value and fantastic service

This company have taken £4K from us and ignored every email and phone call for two weeks. They were happy to take the order, come out to scan the worktop area. Gave us an estimated date for installation and nothing. Hundreds of calls ignored and emails. I called all the nearest businesses to find out if they are still trading, apparently they’ve just been taken over. AVOID

Many thanks to you all at MBP. Our granite (Sensa Platino) worktops and waterfall were installed on 9 January 2025 and we are highly delighted with the end result. We have found the whole process to be straightforward, professional and efficient - from our first visit to MBP in August 2024 for an initial chat with Dan Gibbon, to selecting the material and thereafter through to templating, render/visualisation, manufacturing and installation. We would particularly like to thank Dan who provided our main point of contact, Nick whose attention to detail and accuracy in producing the all important template was a testament to his skill and experience, and to Alan and Phil who did a fantastic job with the installation. Their attention to detail and work ethic was exceptional resulting in a top quality installation. Once again many thanks to Dan and the Team at MBP for a job well done.

The fitting was fine, the after care is awful. The joints have started to crack after only two years and the company are just saying it is becasue out units have moved and its not their problem. For the price I paid I would like to think things would last longer! One joint did start to crack after a year and they did come out and fix this and one of the men who fixed it admitted that the old stuff they used for my kitchen wasnt as good and now they have better stuff! But unfortunately looks like I will have to live with the cracks as they wanted £200 just to come out and look at it. Seems to me like a con, use crap materials so you then have to pay them to come out and use the good stuff? Be careful!

On behalf of J Whitehouse: I cannot say a big enough thank you to Tom Bendell (Head of Operations) and his colleagues at MBP Worksurfaces York for our beautiful marble kitchen and utility worktops. I was recommended to contact Tom at MBP Worksurfaces by someone familiar with the business. I was very specific about what marble I wanted but was unsure if this was even possible. After explaining to me the pros and cons of marble, Tom went on to explain to me about the Italian marble suppliers they use and then came back to me with some images of the beautiful Candoglia marble that his suppliers had sourced. That was it! From your accounts team, Sasha confirming the template appointment, Guy coming to carry that out, Dan confirming the order and final specification and then to Lance and Simon for fitting the marble…. A great team of people! Everyone has been brilliant and the marble kitchen and utility worktops look truly stunning and beautiful and absolutely beyond what I thought would be possible. All our family love it and it is very very special. So thank you again Tom and all your team.

Would not recommend this company. Had quartz work surface fitted. Used the spray provided by the company as recommended once every 8 weeks only for it to build up a film making the surfaces cloudy. They wanted to charge £200 call out fee to come and look at the problem. Paid various quartz specialists to come and look. Mixed reviews on what the problem was. Company eventually came out and it was the spray they provided. No compensation for the fees paid to the other specialists while I waited nearly 6 months for them to come out. Not happy with the way they treated me as a customer. Although the guys that came out eventually were great and shocked at the state of my 1.5 year old quartz work surface. They even took the cleaning spray away and said it was definitely the cause of the problem.

Lance and Anthony made a first class job of our new quartz work surfaces - and they were such lovely guys as well. THANK YOU!
