⚠️Disappointing Aftercare, Poor Quality Control, and Constant Chasing ⚠️ ​We hired Kitchen Magic Ltd Sunderland to complete a significant amount of work in our home: two complete bathroom refurbishments and the installation of fitted wardrobes. While the initial scope of the project was large and we hoped for a premium finish, our experience since completion has been incredibly frustrating due to a severe lack of communication and poor quality control. ​The Positives: ​The fitted wardrobes were completed, and the initial look of the bathrooms seemed promising. ​The Negatives: ​Water Damage & Shocking Customer Service: Just four weeks after completion, we noticed water damage to the sink unit in our ensuite. We immediately notified Martin and Gordon. What followed was six months of us constantly chasing them for a resolution. ​Substandard Replacements: When Martin finally responded and dropped off replacements, we were shocked to find he had left us with a damaged sink and a second-hand unit that had clearly been ripped out of a showroom. This is entirely unacceptable for a paid, new refurbishment. ​Structural Issues: To make matters worse, the bath has now dropped and is visibly moving, raising serious concerns about the quality of the initial installation and waterproofing. ​Ignored Warnings: After months of being ignored, we formally wrote to them in June regarding taking further action. We received absolutely no response to this letter. ​It is incredibly disappointing that after spending a significant amount of money, we have been left with second-hand replacements, structural faults, and an adversarial customer service experience. ​⚠️ Monthly Update Commitment: Because this issue remains unresolved, I will be updating this review every month to document Kitchen Magic Ltd's response (or lack thereof) and progress on fixing these defects. ​Current Status (July 2026): After our formal letter in June went completely ignored, I called them yesterday. They have now promised they will order a new sink unit. I am still waiting for a date for this to be delivered, as well as a proper plan to fix the structural issue with the dropping bath. I will update next month on whether they actually follow through.

We had a kitchen and bathroom fitted by this company back in 2023. It all looked very nice at a surface level, but it did not take long for the poor workmanship and standard of materials used to become apparent. The bathroom has needed to be resealed, with the plumber citing that the sealant that had been used by Kitchen Magic was of a poor quality, due to the use of this sealant we have had to replace our bathroom floor due to the shower leaking under the floor. We have also replaced the shower-head, tap and bathroom cupboard door handles due to rapid deterioration. In terms of the kitchen, we have had to replace the oven. Also, an electrician we recently had in to replace our fuse box found multiple issues with the wiring installed by this company, not least. A live wire jammed behind the fittings which was identified as a significant fire hazard. I had held off on writing this review, however. The revelation we have been living with a significant fire hazard for 3 years, putting our family at risk has been the icing on the cake. We’ll be making a report to trading standards, avoid like the plague

Amazing work from Martin and the Team! Replaced the doors and the worktops and it looks likw a brand new kitchen. What really impressed me was the attention to detail by changing the bottom pannel under the oven so it matches the door and he also remounted the oven so it fit flush again. They really went the extra mile and couldn't be happier.

Replacement quartz kitchen tops - a really great and expert service by Martin and his team, the work was of very high standard. It has totally revitalised the kitchen, a big investment, but we are delighted with the end result.

Would definitely recommend kitchen magic. We called in to just get some new worktops and Martin and his team ended up fitting them at half the price that we had been quoted. Also got our sink and hob there at a very competitive price. Delivery and fitting was very prompt. Everyone that we dealt with was very professional.
