Howdens - Bridge Of Don

Howdens was established in 1995 and is a British manufacturer. It began with 14 depots and now has nearly 900 locations, operating in the UK, Republic of Ireland, France and Belgium. The company holds a Royal Warrant by Appointment to His Majesty the King since 2025 and was named the UK's number one supplier of trade kitchens by Mintel in 2025. Howdens sells only to trade customers and has more than 800 depots throughout the UK and Europe.

Its cabinets are manufactured in the UK from FSC and PEFC certified materials and carry a 25-year guarantee, while Lamona appliances come with a 3-year guarantee as standard. Expo showrooms are located in Raunds, Howden, and London. Howdens provides kitchens, joinery, and hardware products.

Homeowners and trade customers working through a tradesperson's account find the Bridge of Don depot straightforward to deal with, with reviewers repeatedly mentioning the knowledge and willingness of staff to help. Kitchens are designed on site, and one customer singles out Brent McIntyre for a design they were delighted with. A duty manager named Derek is praised for resolving an issue with a kitchen and appliances long after purchase, an example of the after-sales support that comes up often.

Others note the speed of service, describing no-fuss transactions and competitive deals arranged with the manager Kyle, who is said to go out of his way to assist. The product range draws positive remarks too, with beautiful kitchens and appliances ordered years earlier still earning praise, while the trade-only purchasing arrangement is explained clearly to those unfamiliar with it. Helpful and knowledgeable staff, quick service and good value recur across the accounts, alongside appreciation for the coffee machine and the relaxed atmosphere at the Aberdeen branch.
