A & J Granite Solutions Ltd

A & J Granite Solutions Ltd was established in August 2007 and initially specialised in the fabrication of granite work-surfaces, primarily for kitchens. The company began using composite stone for kitchen worktops in 2008 and uses brands including Compac, Caesarstone, Technistone, Lunastone and Hanstone. Its factory is situated in Bestwood Park, north of Nottingham near the Nottingham City Hospital. Core business comes from kitchen showrooms across the Nottingham, Leicester and Derby areas, and it also welcomes trade and residential customers.

Most quartz kitchen worktops installed have a manufacturer's warranty lasting between 10-15 years, and the company provides free service and repair for all installations up to a period of 5 years. It offers a full and comprehensive measure and installation service to residential customers throughout Nottinghamshire and the East Midlands. It specialises in the design and manufacture of Caesarstone and Compac worktops, as well as Technistone, Quartzforms and Hanstone worktops, and offers a 5 year warranty.

Kitchen and bathroom projects around Nottingham account for most of the work described, and the pattern that emerges is a straightforward journey from first contact to completed surface. Tony is named time and again as knowledgeable and informative, suggesting stone options and giving guidance on upkeep while leaving decisions entirely with the customer. An observation shared by more than one reviewer is the fairness of the quotes, which customers contrast with their own expectations of cost, together with communication that keeps them updated at every stage. Templating is carried out by an experienced craftsman, and fitting follows quickly, sometimes inside a tight deadline, with the installers arriving punctually and working with visible care.

Quartz and granite worktops feature throughout, along with splashbacks, upstands and matching window ledges for kitchens and bathroom vanities. Reviewers highlight precise joints, an unblemished finish and attention to small details. After a small gap appeared in the joint filler once the slabs had settled, a return visit followed without hesitation, and this responsiveness is described as consistent with the service generally. Courtesy on site and the skill of the fitting team are mentioned regularly, closing with the value placed on offcuts for smaller pieces.
