What customers say

Based on genuine customer reviews

Peterborough customers describe a showroom experience built around attentive design support and a willingness to adapt plans as projects evolve. Several reviewers highlight how requirements were listened to and practical suggestions offered, with changes accommodated when decisions shifted during the design stage. The kitchen supply side receives consistent praise, particularly the timely delivery of hardware with all components needed for an efficient installation.

Communication stands out as a recurring theme, with progress updates on timings keeping customers informed throughout refurbishment work. Design staff are described as working hard to fit plans within budget parameters, while on-site teams are characterised as professional and the standard of workmanship exemplary. A named member of staff, Sam Brown, is thanked directly for the service received. The showroom itself is described as impressive and well stocked with kitchen and bedroom displays, with visitors greeted warmly and offered refreshments while browsing for inspiration.

For those renovating older properties, the range of solutions on display helps clarify options. Customers who arranged their own fitting still report satisfaction with the purchasing process and the quality of goods supplied. Recurring points include the friendly welcome on arrival, the breadth of the showroom offering and the ease of discussing design ideas with knowledgeable staff before committing to a layout.

Update to this review - it goes from bad to worse - they've now attempted to fit the worktops twice and the first time the worktops didn't fit - now the upstands and windowsills don't fit and now they're saying the earliest they can send someone to measure it again is the 21st July (3 weeks away) then it takes 10 days to make them so another 4 weeks. We've had a building site for a kitchen for 4 weeks already and apparently another 4 weeks is totally acceptable (it absolutely isn't) I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH, DO NOT ORDER A KITCHEN FROM WREN. Absolutely terrible, ordered a new kitchen in February and were promised a one stop shop where they would handle everything else that needs doing. Flooring/building/plastering etc. Its all lies, they are only responsible for the dry fit. The tradespeople they recommend quoted 2x the price of anyone else and/or didn't turn up as promised and were rude. Kitchen only started to be fitted first week of June (so not 4 weeks as stated on their website, 5 months) The old kitchen was torn out and the new units put on the walls before repair plastering done (because their guy didnt turn up). Worktops attempted to be installed yesterday but don't fit, now told I have to get someone else out at my expense to sort out their mistake. Designer (Sameer) had a cupboard floating in mid air so now cupboards dont line up. Not to mention cancelling/rearranging our installation date twice with no communication. Been left with no kitchen for nearly 3 weeks now. Avoid like the plague unless you just want constant stress and having to constantly chase people up for a response/date they don't stick to, showroom are only interested until they have your money and then palm you off onto head office and they all just regurgitate the line that wren are only responsible for the dry fit, none of the supplementary work even though their fitter recommends them. One stop shop it certainly isn't, don't fall for it. Go elsewhere. Quality of product and service do not match the premium prices charged.

No one is getting back to us regarding them giving us wrong measurements - we had sockets moved to the measurements given and they gave us the wrong measurements now no one is getting back to us

Very disappointing Both in store and Head office Kitchen cabinets not measured correctly following a visit to our home ! Then to be told that we had missed the snagging window and had to pay for an additional cabinet although they could do this at trade price. When it came to fitting the work tops same scenario! Two visits to the showroom to try and sort this out , to be told this is a head office issue and nothing they can do in store. Called head office , to be told this a store issue and they should take some responsibility…. Whilst the quality of the cabinets are very good their customer care leaves a lot to be desired . Anyone thinking of upgrading their kitchen with wren , please check , check and double check upon delivery. This is the current status of our kitchen whilst we wait for additional work top and Cabinets that has cost an extra £700 in total due to poor service … But let’s not forget they have done us a favour and ONLY charged us at trade price.

The worst level of customer service i have ever experienced. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. After taking your deposit any pretence of caring about your order dissappear and you get a faceless and quite frankly useless customer service agent giving excuse after excuse for their errors. We used the idiots in the Peterborough showroom and the salesman in there got everything wrong. Wrong sizes delivered, wrong colours delivered, requested items not delivered. Seriously, pay a little extra if necessary and get what you have asked for. Terrible. Our salesman was called Sean. AVOID.

Have tried for over a month to find out if we can still order a unit in a colour that is now discontinued since we had a wren kitchen fitted 4 years ago. We keep getting fobbed off from head office even though our units are so called guaranteed, in which case they should be able to colour match but they just don’t want to provide us with a yes or no answer. Terrible after service.

Do not even bother with this place. Awful customer service, uninterested, inexperienced and slow staff. Designed our kitchen for us, messed up the parts and had to go back SEVERAL times to rectify their mistakes…. Any time they were asked to do something simple it was “nope can’t do that” and was simply because it was creating more work and effort for them. They were standing around chatting rather than helping their struggling colleague to do a simple task of designing. One of the people working there was asked to come and check another colleagues work and they responded with “Nah I’m not gonna keep coming again and again” while the colleague was begging them almost to come and take a look… they think we cannot hear conversations below the balcony but believe you me we heard everything. When you phone the customer services you won’t even get an answer, and emails don’t even bother because I got no response from them either. Had to go in several times in person to keep rectifying mistakes made. Made mistakes with our order several times and an overall uncomfortable experience.

We visited Peterborough showroom back in August to purchase a kitchen. The customer service originally was fantastic, even though we had a different sales advisor appointed the service was still very good. Once we finalised and got a delivery date it seemed any level of customer service vanished. We received an email 3 days before our delivery date to state that the original fridge freezer we ordered was unavailable due to a manufacturer issue and we was just substituted a lower standard fridge freezer without even a phone call to ask if we was happy with this is!! We don’t want to pay same price for a lower standard fridge freezer how is that fair?? So tried sending an email back and my email was rejected as the person who sent me the email doesn’t accept incoming emails, so we thought we would ring customer services. Over 2 hours on the phone and every time the phone cuts out and no one answers!!! We ring the showroom all to be told is that that’s the choice that’s given and if you don’t like it then we can process a refund and you can purchase your own fridge freezer. Absolutely diabolical customer service. So we don’t even know if the fridge freezer is coming whether we even have a fridge freezer at all now. So we have been without a kitchen for a month and all I can say is I hope that there is no issues with the rest of the kitchen because customer services are shocking. Once they have your money they don’t seem to want to help at all. I would not recommend wrens kitchens at any cost and I will never purchase from you again.
