What customers say

Based on genuine customer reviews

Kitchen planning and supply at the Bolton showroom earns consistent recognition for how projects are organised from the first appointment onwards. Designers including Jake Beeton and Stuart are frequently named for listening closely, shaping ideas into workable layouts for compact or complicated rooms, and arranging virtual or in-store viewings so customers can see and handle the units before deciding. Reviewers often mention being kept informed at every stage, with an app providing updates and enabling damaged items to be reordered.

Delivery is described as timely and carefully checked off, while the guidance given to those installing the kitchen themselves is noted as unexpectedly detailed. Fitters such as Warren of Linguard and Lomax are credited with meticulous workmanship covering units, tiling and flooring. A recurring point concerns the breadth of units and colours available across different budgets, alongside relaxed advice that helps refine plans. Any issues that emerged are described as dealt with promptly, and the abiding impression is of a well-managed journey from showroom to completed room, led by design knowledge and steady communication.

If you're purchasing a kitchen through Wren, just be aware that appliances will cost you a fortune to be fitted, this isn't included in the fitting of the kitchen (even if you purchase all new appliances through them). Also, their fitters will come out and rip you off as they will cost up any electrics which might need moving, we got quoted an extra £2,000 to fit the hob, oven, fridge freezer, washer, sink and to move 2 plug sockets!! the fitter also charged £100 for two holes to be cut out of the sink for the taps! Wren also conveniently added an instant boiling tap (which we did not order), so I had to go through the plan very carefully and then decided not to sign their contract after the fitter charged an extra £2,000 ontop of the £16,000 kitchen. Be careful and ask what will cost you extra. At no point did they mention appliances will cost extra to be fitted.

The worst experience we've ever had with any organisation we went into store to buy a bespoke fitted bedroom for our daughter. As soon as the design was done in store and the money paid the whole process has been a disgrace. No delivery dates no install dates failed installs no communication being passed form one long phone queue to another - no one taking any responsibility. no after sales support the designer had, for some reason, split our order into 2, their external installers wouldn't install the 2nd part. Being told we need to liaise with the installers ourself (we paid for a fitted bedroom its not our job to manage joiners) This company don't care - they took the money and fobbed us off. As soon as the store make the sale they literally tell you its nothing to do with them and give you an 0800 number to call. Ive taken a few days off work now to be here for install and delivery and sat there and nothing happened. we are now 2 weeks past promised install date, no one to speak to, no dates, just a string of calls where we've been on hold for hours trying to get someone to help. I know they'll reply to this saying their management team will be in touch - that's the problem - they dont care.

I brought from wren for my kitchen. When I purchased my kitchen I got told that everything was covered. But my cabinets have began to peel and it is not accidental damage. Yet when I contacted wren they told me it was not covered even though it had not been accidental damage from my end. They told me i will have to buy new cabinets. I am hugely disappointed. When purchasing from them. I even told them about my previous bad experience with a company for my kitchen and they reassured me and said that this would not be the case with them as they are number one and priorise their customers. I also brought cabinets in a special colour which when they got damage, they said that they cannot provide the same colour anymore which is a shame. I am very disappointed and upset as I paid a lot of money and was told something very different at the start compared to now. I am also very disappointed because the cabinets do not have longevity and quality as advertised.

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Poor Communication and Ongoing Issues We chose Wren Kitchens Bolton with high expectations, but the experience has been extremely disappointing from start to finish. Our kitchen installation was scheduled for 5th January. The installer arrived, removed everything, and immediately identified a design issue. That was the start of a nightmare. The redesign process was slow, confusing, and required constant chasing from our side. We selected a specific design, yet Wren sent replacement parts that did not match what we chose. Despite raising this multiple times, we received no meaningful follow‑up from Wren. A second installer eventually worked with whatever parts were available and completed the kitchen on 26th January, but even now we are still chasing Wren. We are still missing parts, and because of the redesign mismatch, we have extra items sitting in our home, taking up space while we wait for Wren to collect them. We were told a solution was “on the way”, but after two emails and one phone call, we have had no response at all. Mistakes can happen — that’s not the issue. The real problem is the complete lack of customer care. Once they have your money, it feels like you’re left on your own. Reading other reviews, it seems we are not the only ones experiencing this decline in service. Very disappointed and still waiting for Wren to resolve the outstanding issues. Update: We did get the kitchen completed, but still no efficient communication from wren. Have sent improper size of cutlery tray twice and at last I asked for reimbursement but no response. Complete silence after they got kitchen completion certificate. No reply even to collect the goods they delivered of wrong size multiple times. And no word about compensation which they said they would provide for the delay in work.

Excellent experience. First visit to a kitchen supplier . Doing major change to a complicated space. Booked appointment with designer. He did a great job overviewing products and designing a solution for our space. I had sent in detailed dimensions and photos of the space a few hours ahead of the appointment. Walked out with a solution and a price in under 2 hours.

A pretty shocking experience with Wren for our bedroom wardrobe, the design process was great but that has been the best part. It took countless emails and chasing things to find out when our wardrobe would be installed. The day of the installation arrived and no handles had been ordered, even though these were discussed during our design appointment. The installer helped us to order the handles and assured me he could come back and fit them. This has never happened. I have had countless phone calls with Wren, spike to them over email and we are still waiting for these handles to been installed. I've been linked to 2 other installers, one give a date from Wren that we didn't agree too and was unable to do due to work, tried to arrange another date and was completely ignored. Contacted Wren again, got another installer, been waiting 2 weeks and nothing! The wardrobe was fitted in November and still isn't complete! It's a shame as the quality of the wardrobe is wonderful but the installers are a real pain.

WARNING -AFTER SALES SERVICE IS DIABOLICAL!! Ihave refrained from posting a review until now as we have tried to rectify the issues we faced with our kichen DIRECTLY WITH THE BOLTON STORE and as I was always told "if you've nothing nice to say then say nothing at all" However, I believe that potential customers of Wren should be made aware of the downside of Wren's services. We had waited a long time and saved a substantial amount of money to put as a deposit/part payment for our £18,000+ kitchen and we were excited. We had our kitchen fitted in February 2025 and there were a number of snagging errors which were not rectified by the fitters who I believe may have been fitting two kitchens at the same time going off their working hours.. none the less we contacted Wren who asked that we make a list, take photographs using a coin against the said defect, take a video, mark up a floor plan all of which we have done and sent at least 3 times the first time we were offered some money back for the damaged goods [we have never received a penny to date] then we were told they hadn't received all the documentation they had asked for although it had been acknowledged once already. We have sent documentation, and had a number of phone calls and sent upwards of 30 emails and still have not yet had any of the issues resolved. Contact was made last week when we were telephoned by Wren to make arrangements for a call this morning to resolve the issues once and for all! Guess what! They've not telephoned..Now we are left with either taking them to court and or paying for someone else to rectify the issues all of which cost money we haven't got after purchasing our "dream" kitchen. It has left a very nasty taste and a lot of soul searching whether to make this post but its something we have yet to finish paying for and all the pleasure of a brand new kitchen has been taken away through their processes which I'm sure are designed to make customers jump through so many hoops they give up bothering trying to resolve them The kitchen should be lovely, it looks good on the face of it. Jake who designed it at the Bolton Store was brilliant but the designers aren't involved once its sold and the BOLTON STORE leaves a lot to be desired with their after sales service so be warned. FEB TO NOV and still not resolved in my book is unacceptable and the more people I tell our story to, I find out that it is not a unique one. Mr & Mrs Lomas 12.11.25
