Strachan Furniture Makers Ltd

Exceptional furniture, From start to finish, our experience with Strachan Furniture Makers was outstanding. Our architect, Phil, was fantastic. He really listened to what we wanted, came up with excellent ideas, and designed furniture that perfectly suited our home. Aaron, our installer, was equally brilliant. His attention to detail, craftsmanship, and professionalism were exceptional, and the installation was completed to an incredibly high standard. Now that everything is installed, we genuinely couldn't be happier. The furniture looks absolutely spectacular and has exceeded all of our expectations. The quality and finish are second to none. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Strachan Furniture Makers to anyone looking for bespoke furniture, and we'll definitely be returning to them for future projects. Thank you, Phil, Aaron, and the whole team for an amazing experience!

The requirement was for fitted wardrobes (different configurations) in two bedrooms. Strachans were able to accommodate different install dates and separate payments. The design/specification and sign off process is highly formalised and making changes will protract the process. A couple of 'wrinkles' occurred along the way as well but were resolved. Getting the end result right is the most important outcome and we did achieve that. A special recognition for Giovanni who was the fitter on both installations. His work was to a very high standard and he achieved great results to our complete satisfaction. Strachans will not be an inexpensive solution but the quality of finish both externally and especially internally is clear to see.

A very professional firm. Initially someone came round to measure up and draw designs of the area. Colour chart extensive. The fitter worked really hard. Completed in the time scale they said they would do it in. Good communication with the firm. I would highly recommend the firm.

Strachan previously installed a range of units in our office/bedroom some ten years ago, which is still as immaculate now as it was on installation. Because of this, we decided to use them again to have fitted units in our spare bedroom. From design planning to completion, the process has been good. Apart from one part not being available, resulting in a later visit, there was also a mix up with the bedroom stool being the wrong colour, but this was resolved and was delivered today to complete the installation. Aaron, the fitter, was polite, very hardworking, clean and tidy, and kept us entertained with his singing. We advised him not to give up the day job! The installation was quite expensive, but as others have said, you get what you pay for. Also a 10 year guarantee. We would recommend.

I had a wardrobe and bookcase fitted with Strachan. The whole process was well organised and professional. I had two consultations with Nick who helped me with the design and was knowledgeable about the process. I took a while to consider the price as I’d had a lower quote but Nick said they make sure customers are happy with the results and I trusted him and felt in safe hands. Whilst the other quote was cheaper I didn’t feel as confident about their service and it was too much to take the risk. I’m happy with my choice to go with Strachan. Georgina in the sales team was really helpful especially with sorting out the handles I’d asked for. And the installation was smooth with Lawrence. He helped me with the dust sheets and moving a bed to make space and did a good job of keeping the room clean with lots of hoovering and the finished result is great. Very happy with the quality of the materials used and how it all looks. They also called to check everything was fine and remind me about the 10 year warranty which is reassuring. Very impressed and would definitely recommend Strachan.

I recently used Strachans to supply and fit new bedroom wardrobes.I cannot praise them highly enough and this is the second time I have used this company. From start to finish all their staff are so professional and update you throughout the job. Many thanks to everyone involved with my order. I am thrilled with the outcome.
