Make Kitchens

It is 3 and a half years since I got my kitchen installed by make kitchen. The fitter, Jason was the worst workman that I have ever encountered in my life (I am now around 60, so that is a lot of other workmen that I previously worked with). He was completely incompetent, inconsistent, down right rude and disrespectful. I could have disregarded most of it if the work was good but it was seriously poor. I had to buy edging that I hadn’t budgeted for to hide the unacceptable gaps and the fitter who came after him to repair his mistakes was as shocked as me (eg, wrong holes, wrong hinges etc etc I’ve since discovered poor and non existent support under appliances/cupboards I bought my appliances through make kitchens. The oven had already been repaired once, the dishwasher has stopped working twice and I have been unable to get it working since Christmas and now the fridge is not working. Please do not go to make kitchens, I really regret it.

We bought a painted kitchen from Make 6 years ago. I would highly recommend this company as after 6 years the kitchen is as good as the day it was installed, no chips, no scratches, just wipe clean. From planning with Nigel to fitting with Joe the process was seamless,moving fridge freezer oven, installing a larder and fitting new appliances, all done cleanly. Joe removed the old kitchen and left the kitchen spotless. I would 100% recommend Make

Our overall experience with Make Kitchens has been fantastic, from start to finish. Excellent quality, a design, which we changed more than twice, choice of hardware amazing! Michael was so courteous, it was believe it or not, an enjoyable experience in Boucher Road, one where Michael made us feel right at home, nothing was too much trouble. Then our Carpenter Andrew and his phenomenal team which ex sister of plasterers , joiners, electricians and plumber tan so smoothly, we’re so tidy and worked wonderfully as a team. The overall finish is excellent and we highly recommend Make Kitchens to all those beginning a new journey, which can be daunting choosing a new kitchen but a decision we have not regretted. Thank you to everyone who helped make our dream come true of a spectacular kitchen and herringbone flooring, still cannot stop smiling! .

I have no hesitation in recommending Make Kitchens. Nigel was very helpful with the design and Gary the fitter was excellent. He worked steadily and had the job almost completed in three days. That included taking out the old kitchen and disposing of rubbish etc. The job is of the highest standard and I am so pleased.

We called in to look at kitchen colours as the supplier for our new build home doesn't have a showroom, and we knew that Make Kitchens were a stockist. The staff were so accommodating and one gentleman (I didn't get his name unfortunately) took the time to talk through options and offer advice, which we really weren't expecting anyone to do. Superb customer service and a brilliantly laid out showroom with all options on display. Would highly recommend.

Called into Boucher Road store in Belfast. Very unpleasant unhelpful older woman in the bedroom department. Unwilling to give a quote even though I had exact measurements. Said they were not a quote service. How do people buy then without a quote? Other places I called into were so helpful. I definitely would not give MAKE my business. Their staff need a lesson in good customer service. In reply to your response, I did not ask for an insurance quote. I made it clear that I needed to replace my wardrobes due to water damage, which I have already received compensation for from my insurance company. I visited the store to enquire about purchasing wardrobes and to get an idea of price for comparison purposes. No other business I visited yesterday had a problem with this. Your staff member was extremely rude to myself and my parents. We were disgusted by her attitude. Appalling customer service!

I give Make Kitchen 5 stars easily and if I could give them 10 stars I would. Every single detail from purchasing my new kitchen, having my old kitchen removed, and getting the new kitchen fitted, was done to perfection. The sales man Nigel was great at giving us advice when choosing the correct colour and design for the space we have. The fitter Joe is exceptional. He had my old kitchen removed in a few hours. He came exactly when he said he would to fit the new one. He is very professional, friendly and an expert in his field. Nothing was too much trouble for him. It was a joy to have him working in my home. He went far and above what was expected from him to make sure we were happy. We are absolutely delighted with the finished product. I would recommend this company to anyone. Photos will follow when the decoration is completed.
