Gillies Aberdeen

Fitting in the carpets was done to the highest standard. Best of all who doesn't like tradesmen who clean after themselves Thank you 😁👌

Beautiful furniture, rugs, flooring, staff are very friendly, helpful and let you browse and try out furniture. The store in Aberdeen is very chic too. Stuart Edgar has been attending to us quite a few times now when purchasing furniture and is professional, friendly and knowledgeable, we are very happy going to Gillies.

Beautiful shop and easy parking even though it’s in the centre of town. Stuart was friendly and really helpful. Managed to get what we wanted. Excellent service all round.

Fabulous customer service Found staff in the Aberdeen store to be knowledgeable of the products and so professional throughout. Purchased 2 sofas and although we had an issue with one this was resolved immediately . The store manager contacted us personally regarding our issues and came to meet us on our recent store visit, which we greatly appreciated. Would have no hesitation in recommending Gillies especially Stephen and his team who go above and beyond to assist. Will certainly shop here again Thank you Gillies Aberdeen

We were looking for a diner table and we were helped by a gentleman called Steven he was brilliant , he put us under no pressure to buy , gave us all the help we needed and told us to just take all the time we needed , which we did and because of this gentleman we did give him a call and purchased our new table .. BRILLIANT .

Ordered flooring Dec 23. Asked for sample to be sent out, never was, just the measurements guy. Then into store to get two samples, returned them both by hand up the stairs after citing specific one desired. Then sent follow up email by Gillies with totally erroneous sample identified (of only two after all). So corrected them. Eventually got fitting date for end January. But turned out that only underlay was ordered. At no stage was it identified by Gillies themselves that actual flooring itself not there or going to be fitted that week as exceptionally poor miscommunication throughout. It was the pleasant fitters themselves that informed us on the 3rd day. I called to state dissatisfaction. A full fortnight plus elapsed whilst partially fitted flooring was down & highly inconvenienced. Stated my complaint by email and exceptionally poor long winded overly repetitive apologetic emails sent back to me, alluding to compensation. Also disingenuous as was told would be frequently appraised. Called today after no response in nearly 3 weeks only to be told no compensation whatsoever. Then audaciously told that future orders may get discounted. No chance. Will NEVER go back and do not recommend at all. Expensive, delayed and appalling customer service. I reiterate that fitters exempt as highly pleasant

Huge selection in a deceptively vast building. All the staff were fantastic. Purchased a Stressless sofa and chair, and it was all conducted in a very efficient and friendly manner. Will return for sure
