Danbuild

Danbuild is a father and son carpentry team consisting of Danny and Evan Lloyd. The company has over 20 years of experience in designing and building bespoke made-to-measure furniture. Based in Brighton, Danbuild works all over Sussex including Hove, Portslade, Worthing, Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill, Rottingdean, Uckfield, Shoreham, Newhaven and beyond.

Danbuild is CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) accredited and fully insured. Services include fitted wardrobes and bedroom furniture, under-stair storage and pull-out solutions, bespoke cupboards and shelving, custom chests of drawers and storage units, home office and study furniture, and general bespoke carpentry projects.

Built-in wardrobes, alcove shelving, cupboards and under-stairs storage make up the bespoke carpentry that customers in Brighton describe Danbuild providing, with each piece shaped around the household's own design and available space. A recurring point is the standard of the finished work, with pieces built precisely to the agreed brief even where walls were awkwardly shaped or eaves had to be used cleverly. Punctuality and tidiness feature again and again, Dan arriving when arranged, keeping the work area clean and leaving it cleared afterwards.

Communication before and during the job draws praise, especially his readiness to offer suggestions and talk through minor adjustments so the fit came out right. Named directly in several accounts, Danny comes across as polite, friendly and straightforward to deal with, and customers mention that quotes followed quickly and that the price felt fair for the quality received. Work spans bedroom wardrobes and shelving, living room alcove cupboards and storage beneath the stairs, one of the latter including an opening for a cat. Several reviewers say they would call on him again for more fitted furniture.
