Cardiff Granite

Cardiff Granite is a family run business that has been operating since 1994. It has been fabricating granite and quartz worktops in its Penarth workshop for more than 20 years. The company supplies granite, marble, slate and quartz materials. It provides a full template and installation service, and the same person who templates the worktops also cuts and installs them.

Worktops are fabricated using state of the art CNC machinery, with skilled stone masons on site to operate it. All polishing is completed by hand. A showroom is located on site. Cardiff Granite can also supply a range of indoor and outdoor porcelain tiles delivered directly to the customer's door.

Householders renovating kitchens and adding quartz or granite surfaces describe a family-run operation in Penarth where questions are answered in full, samples are supplied and advice on keeping stone clean is given before installation. Several customers highlight the quality of the finished worktop, with joins on quartz and granite slabs described as flawless and the material itself called beautiful, including one large island piece. Installation is repeatedly called quick, clean and precise, with the team tidying the quartz before leaving and completing fitting on the date promised.

Pricing comes up often as competitive and fair for the standard of surface supplied, and the company is credited with doing what it says it will do. Named staff, among them Ben and Chris, are praised for going above and beyond and for being professional and helpful throughout. Work has included kitchen worktops and a dining table made from leftover quartz, showing that offcuts are put to use. Customers also value the local knowledge that led kitchen fitters to pass the firm on, and the finished surfaces remain the point most return to.
