Boughtons Bedroom Design

Boughtons Bedroom Design is a family owned and operated company that has been continuously trading since 1969. It operates out of two locations, in Liverpool and Chester, and covers most of the North West and North Wales region. The company designs, manufactures and installs fitted bedroom, lounge and home office furniture.

It specialises in bespoke fitted hinged door and sliding door wardrobes and functional storage systems. It manufactures vinyl wrapped doors, drawers, panels and accessories on-site. Its products are backed by its own 10 Year Guarantee. Bedrooms are its primary business, and it also offers a range of study furniture.

Boughtons Bedroom Design earns consistent praise across its Liverpool customer base for fitted wardrobes and bedroom furniture, with workmanship and finish quality emerging as the dominant theme. Customers writing about their orders describe the full process, from an initial design consultation through to installation, as professional and well organised, with clear communication and updates at each stage.

Named staff recur throughout the feedback: Peter is frequently mentioned for his knowledgeable advice on layouts and design choices, while fitters Paul, McKenzie and Dave are singled out for skill, polite manners and unfailing hard work. Reviewers repeatedly note that rooms are left clean and tidy once the job is complete, with one customer describing a bedroom as immaculate after fitting. The attention to detail in both the planning and the installation is a point that comes up often, and the finished wardrobes and vanity units are described as high quality and transformative for the space.

Customers also value being given a choice of installation dates and mention fair pricing, with discounts appreciated. The design stage is praised for being thorough without any pressure to buy, and the colour and finish options available draw positive comments. Small touches, such as refitting a television back onto the wall, are remembered fondly by clients.
