Bespoke Joinery Edinburgh Ltd

I’m not sure what has happened with this company but recent reviews all seem to be the same. I’ve an unfinished jobs after paying 100s of £s for a fitted wardrobe. Emails are not being answered, texts seem to be undeliverable. Wardrobe missing a door, wrong colour handles, understair cupboard incomplete. They also forgot to mark in where electric sockets were when designing so have blocked off two sets of sockets. Communication has been AWFUL. And now completely ghosted. I’ll be taking the legal route now too.

Avoid! BJE took 95% of the payment to start installation (assuming already built as per contract) of 2 built-in wardrobes and a window seat, and never built the window seat. The furniture they did build was okay in quality, but the installation damaged it and was a very badly done. We spent months with "we'll finish it next week" and they never completed it. Months without handles, and they never came back to properly fit the wardrobes or install lights. And, of course, never came back to install a window seat that we paid for but never delivered. Effectively, they abandoned the job after months of delays, and now we're trying to recover some of the money we spent on what we thought was a premium service via legal means on a case already decided on our favour.

Do not waste your time or money on Bespoke Joinery Edinburgh Ltd! We commissioned a design in April and paid 95% upfront in September, only for the project to be abandoned in December (see photos taken in December of the abandoned job attached). They did not even start the manufacturing of a window seat furniture despite being paid for this. BEJ didn't reply to phone calls or emails. They never completed the joinery. What was delivered was below the standard one should expect for "bespoke joinery" Please save your money, your time and find a reputable business elsewhere.

Sadly really can’t recommend this company. The product we have (bespoke kitchen) is beautiful, well made and we love it. However the communication has been shocking, pretty much from the start (or once we confirmed the work)- some parts of the kitchen eg tap, shelves, have been installed wrong and the owner is now screening our calls, emails and texts despite us chasing many many times over months. It was also hard to get updates on plans, install dates, progress etc throughout. A real shame as we are genuinely happy with the kitchen but the process and comms have been terrible. Would not reccommend using this company.

Very pleased with this company. Communication, advice, fitting all very good. I asked for strong wardrobes and that is what I have. I kept changing the plans and was always assured that the final result was to be what I wanted. My room has a narrow alcove which has been fitting out beautifully. I also wanted a double rail wardrobe and this was done to my specifications also.

Really good experience from start to finish- Rory is great in making sure the design suits your needs and great that you can see what your design looks like via their computer package and also see the quality of the units in their workshop. Fitters were tidy and efficient and absolutely delighted with the end product. It has totally changed the feel of our room and we have so much storage now. Loved the panelling they did for us too- all matched to be in-keeping with the age of our house! Great that it comes beautifully painted too. Will certainly use James and his team again. Thanks to you all

I recently had the pleasure of working with Bespoke Joinery Edinburgh Ltd for the manufacture and installation of three bespoke wardrobes, and I couldn't be happier with the results! From the initial design consultation to the final installation, the team demonstrated exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail. They took the time to understand my vision and offered creative solutions that truly brought my ideas to life. The quality of the materials used is top-notch, and the finished wardrobes are not only beautiful but also incredibly functional. The installation process was seamless; the team was professional, punctual, and respectful of my home. They left everything tidy and ensured that I was completely satisfied with the final product. I highly recommend Bespoke Joinery Edinburgh Ltd to anyone looking for quality bespoke joinery work. Their dedication to excellence is evident in every aspect of their service.
