Good store with good stock levels
They refused a replacement because they want a physical receipt, and it’s not even mentioned in their terms and conditions, got picture of the receipt with all details showing clearly, hello Sean can you see just one review below mine , where the guy didn’t had the receipt at all and your brilliant team helped him to retrieve the receipt from their system, Why that can’t be done in my case , Racism? ? Or what ?? And don’t try to delete my review
Found what I needed Good prices
It’s funny that one customer is coming without receipts and they helping him to recover from their data , and the other customer was refused because he had the receipts pic in his phone but not physically , contacted their head office and the wasted a lot of time too , clearly RACISM , read the reviews guys you’ll understand what I’m saying
Absolutely shocking customer service. I went into this store to buy paint and asked a very simple question — whether a product was suitable for wood and metal. Instead of offering any help, the woman on staff just told me to “read the label at the back.” Completely dismissive, lazy, and unprofessional. What exactly is the point of having staff on the shop floor if they can’t be bothered to answer basic questions? The woman (wearing a headset and glasses) made the whole experience worse with her attitude. No effort, no courtesy, nothing. Honestly, it would make absolutely no difference whether she was working there or not — that’s how unhelpful the experience was.
I lost an important receipt from a purchase made a few months ago and went back to the store for help. Carl was extremely helpful and took the time to assist me in recovering it, even though it was a busy time of day. He showed excellent customer care throughout the process. Very happy with the service.
I had a very uncomfortable experience at the Wickes store in Luton. I came to return flooring and wasn’t aware that returns had to be processed first. Instead of explaining politely, a staff member with “MVW” on her shirt loudly told everyone that the cameras would need to be checked, making me feel embarrassed and like a thief. I understand store procedures, but this could have been handled discreetly and respectfully. Customers shouldn’t be humiliated for not knowing the process.
