Terrible customer service, money grabbing company with no interest in the customer. Non-communicative and exorbitantly overpriced. We were quoted £40,000 for a walk in wardrobe. By halving the amount of work and using January sales 60% off we negotiated down to £6000. Still we weren’t told when the materials were arriving (they booked it for whilst we were on holiday and never told us), expected us to take a week off work whilst the work was done - supposedly by two joiners … one came and said he could manage in a day but preferred to spread it over 2 days. Clearly if two workers brought the wood with them it could be done in a day. The worker was fantastic polite and hardworking though. I only wish I hired him and avoided this corporate beast. The worker explained he is contracted out and wasn’t representative of the company. He was a league above and a delight to have do our work, explaining all clients have problems with Sharps and no problems with his work. Clearly sharps only cares about making money. Let’s hope the wardrobes last unlike the other reviews here. Bottom line I would have liked to know before hand: 1. All the wood is delivered a few days before they start the work. You need to be in all day for this as you don’t get a time slot. It’s another day of inconvenience if you work. 2. The work takes around 2 days per wardrobe so if you work you may need to take time off to permit this to happen. 3. Any plug sockets where the wardrobe is going need professionally moving by an electrician beforehand. We arranged this at last minute and no small expense and it was a headache given we would have liked to know this more than a week before the wardrobe was fitted when we were about to go on holiday for a week. 4. A significant amount of rubbish is left behind that sharps don’t clear. This will involve at least one trip to the tip and a very large car as the wood planks are about 6 foot long. Otherwise you will need to pay out for professional waste removal. 5. Carpets are not taken up or moved or re fitted. Another thing you have to sort yourself. If I was making the wardrobe myself and having flat pack dropped off by Ikea I would accept the above but for the money I would expect at least a full job start to finish including sorting out the carpets and not a pile of awkward wood and rubbish to clear afterwards. Sharps response is it’s all in the small print but it look a long time to even get the small print as despite informing them 3 times we never received any emails from them. Proceed with caution.

Popped into the showroom in Derby on a whim. Really friendly and helpful staff. The gentleman took his time and talked us through the various options and ideas in a clear and kind way. Really knew his stuff too!
