Howdens - Derby

Very disappointing experience at the Howdens Ascot Drive branch. A simple return was mishandled, and the manager created an unnecessary issue that implied wrongdoing where there was none. I was then charged instead of refunded and had to make a second trip to fix the store’s error — with no apology or accountability. Earlier design advice and a survey were also inaccurate, leading to last-minute changes and a permanent compromise in my finished project. I have also noticed a clear difference in how I have been treated compared to other customers, which has made the whole experience uncomfortable. I was preparing to buy 12 Daytona Oak doors and a full Howdens kitchen — over £25,000 of future business — but after this episode, that trade will now be going elsewhere. Michelle and Ishaq have been excellent, but the overall service and management at this branch have been extremely poor.

Recommended to Kelvin via our builder and have never been disappointed throughout the whole process. The support, service and patience shown by Kelvin and all of the team we spoke to has been exceptional. Thank you.....our new kitchen looks amazing!

We are very pleased with this firm. The staff are lovely and they helped us choose our new kitchen. Steven designed the layout and advised us on certain items. Good value for money.

Great range and level of stock. Nothings too much trouble for these guys - easy to see why they're #1.

Was made to pay twice for missing materials on my Order because I didn’t check the delivery.

Was not very helpful at all lady behind the counter just was so rude I needed a 8 X 4 door blank urgently but didn't have a trade account so she didn't want to know at all surely there would of been a way as could not get one anywhere else thank you for nothing.

Great service and good knowledge of products very helpful 👍
