Julien has performed a minor miracle transforming our old tired kitchen into a delightful modern space. He was involved from the outset, suggesting ways to make better use of the space and allow more light into the room. We couldn't be happier with our new kitchen! From start to finish, the service we received from Julian was absolutely outstanding. Julian was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely attentive to what we wanted. His vision for the space perfectly matched what we had in mind, and his suggestions really elevated the final result. In particular, the recommendation to include a tall Le Mans unit was brilliant, it's made such a difference to the usability of our kitchen and is something we now couldn't imagine being without. The bespoke cabinets in the island provide fantastic extra storage space, and Julian's suggestions for the height of the shelves have made it even more usable, we use this all the time. The tall boy in the utility, with shelves set at specific heights for us, is| absolutely perfect. Having the bin and microwave built into the island has made everything much easier to work with, and the hidden drawers within the cupboards for cutlery and knives are incredibly practical and useful. When the hand-built units were delivered and fitted, Julian and Elliot were incredibly hands-on and fully involved, making sure everything was just right. Julian even politely refused help from the builders we had on site so he could personally ensure everything was fitted to perfection, which really shows the level of care and pride they take in their work. The quality of the cabinets is fantastic, beautifully made and clearly built to last. Everything has been finished to a very high standard, and it shows in every detail. We also really appreciated how accommodating Julian was when it came to coordinating with other work. When our quartz worktops were being measured by another company, he came out at short notice to make sure everything was exactly right, which gave us real peace of mind. Overall, we are more than happy with the service we received. Julian went above and beyond, and we would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a high-quality kitchen and a truly professional experience. Best wishes Julian and team. Excellent kitchen journey from start to finish! Julien gives expert advice and was honest about costs, what would and wouldn’t work and gave us advice on work surfaces, always leaving the decision with us. He also helped with purchases of white goods and we now have a beautiful kitchen, which we love. We were able to see one of his previous jobs first hand when we visited a house he had worked on. Julien went out of his way to accommodate our working hours, and always returned to fix any small issues. Julien also made us a matching desk for the adjoining office area, which ties together the kitchen & office beautifully. We would highly recommended HB kitchens.

Julien came to us highly recommended by friends who had their kitchen done by him. We had ideas of what we wanted storage-wise for 2 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, a kitchen and utility room. Julien really helped us with these designs to inform us what was possible and what he would recommend to make the designs work. Julien is very creative but also honest - if something won't work or will be expensive he will say so but he will discuss the alternatives to ensure that you are happy with the design and the outcome. He helped us make decisions about things, like the counter tops, by sharing his opinion when we asked for it, but he would always leave the decision up to us. He did make recommendations based on his personal experience and offered to show us other houses he'd worked on so that we could see the finished designs. He also showed us photos and samples so we could make more informed decisions. Julien really wants what is best for his customers and he takes great pride in his work, which shows in every detail of the finished rooms. Thank you Julien for the work you have done for us. We are really enjoying living with the finished results and we anticipate many happy years to come in our new home.
