Design Stoneworks Ltd

We contracted Design Stoneworks to undertake remedial work, after we had had a large L-shaped quartz worktop fitted into our kitchen by another local company who had made an absolute hash of it. Scott and the team were fantastic, and completed the work needed very competently, making our kitchen finally completed and to the standard we had expected from the original company who had failed to deliver. We wish we'd gone with Scott in the first place, and would absolutely recommend Design Stoneworks for anyone looking for a professional team, who are courteous and capable, for their stone work projects.

From start to Finish the Team at Design Stone have been Outstanding. Communication before during and after is Great and were very accommodating with any changes. Site Team were polite and efficient and will definitely use them again.

Highly recommended !!! All the staff are excellent from the very start of my enquiry to the fitting of my lovely granite worktop. They are all very lovely friendly professional people that made the whole journey working with them outstanding. Price, service and staff were ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thank you. Mrs B

These guys are great and highly recommend them. From a very patient Sammi who put up with me dithering about which stone to choose in the showroom for ages, to the team of guys who came out to fit on time and to a very high standard. They were some of the friendliest tradesmen we’ve had. Worktop looks amazing - thanks so much :-)

We’ve been extremely impressed with the quality and craftsmanship of our composite stone worktop fitted last year. When we recently needed a small repair due to damage we had caused, the team handled it quickly and flawlessly.

I recently had quartz kitchen surfaces installed, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The sleek, clean lines of the quartz have transformed my kitchen and really brought the space to life. Not only do they look amazing, but the durability has exceeded my expectations. I feel confident that these surfaces will stand the test of time, withstanding daily use without any issues. The service from start to finish was impeccable. Ordering was quick and easy, and the installation team was fantastic. The installers were professional, friendly, and clearly took pride in their work. They did an amazing job, paying attention and ensuring the fit was perfect. Overall, I’m so pleased with the way the surfaces have completed my kitchen. It looks fresh, modern, and functional all at once. I would highly recommend Design Stone Works quartz surfaces to anyone looking to elevate their space – they’re definitely worth the investment.

I have waited just over 6 months to write this review, becuase i wished to describe how good are the product and the user recommendations left by the Design stonework people. Our kitchen is over 15 years old. We had to replace the old worktop (laminate) due to water ingress. We were not keen to replace the whole kitchen (even though we had to replace two floor cabinets), because of the cost and the fact that we do not like the look of modern kitchens. We decided to upgrade to a stone worktop to avoid any future issues, in case we may experience such problem (hopefully not!). We approached Design Stonework following a neighbour recommendation. I was impressed by the friendly adn helpful attitude that I encounter from day 1, when i first visited the shop: i had many questions regarding the material (we were not sure whether to chose granite or quartz) and the staff were not phased by this. It was immediately clear that this is an artisan company and that they are passionate about their stonemasonry craft. Just replacing the worktop was possible and we were not pushed at all to have the whole kitchen replaced. I was lent a couple of stone samples to take home and match these to our kitchen. Making the order was smooth, every step of the process was explained to us, including measurements and pricing, and again any new questions were answered without issues. The fitting was quick and I was left with excellent instructions for the granite worktop aftercare, which i have followed to the letter 6 months on. Everyone from this company have been brilliant, professional, patient, friendly and knowledgeable. I wish we had chosen a granite worktop when we first installed the kitchen! We are keen cooks and the surface still looks as new and performs better than expected. the new granite worktop rejuvinated our kitchen, which looks new. I expect the granite worktop will outlast our house. The only suggestion i would like to forward to Design stonework is if they could stock aftercare products, as it was not that straighforward to source these (Lithofin stain stop and Gleam vax for kitchen worktops).
