Bensons for Beds Swindon-Excellent. I have purchased from Bensons before and returned because of the amazing customer service. This visit was to purchase a bed and mattress. We were served by Jo and Leah and these two lovely ladies couldnt do enough for us. They were extremely knowledable, patient and were experts in guiding us to the perfect bed choice for us. Jo and Leah explained the many combinations of frame and headboard and took us through not only what was on display but in the on line catalouge of all the products. So kind and an absolute pleasure to deal with. Delivery was perfect, we opted to have our old bed taken away and the new one "built" for us. The two gentlemen who arived were super friendly, so polite and respectful (even tool their shoes off without being asked!) so professional and efficient, an absolute credit to Bensons I couldnt fault anything, highly recommended indeed.

My partner and I unfortunately had an uncomfortable experience here. We found the shop assistant to be unfriendly and as she showed us each mattress it seemed as if she was in a rush. She then left us to help a colleague at the till instead. The environment in the shop also oppressive and dark like a cave. Go to the other store nearby ;)

Great experience in store today, not the usual item to purchase so not really knowing what to expect. Managed to find the one we were after and the sale process was handled fantastically by Martin, super friendly, helpful and had a lovely chat! Great experience. In comparison to other reviews I have seen, we had a completely different but positive experience!

Went in to see if we could find the perfect mattress and not one person came over. We were looking at various mattresses, went to try their analysis of ‘the perfect mattress’ they didn’t come over and help. The service here is shocking and very disappointing, 3 of them sat there. Will not buy from them if this is the way the treat their customers. Dreams are extremely welcoming and even made me a coffee while I waited for my sister and her fiancé to try their mattress. Worlds difference so we will be buying from them.

I don't recommend this shop. We ordered a bed frame and a mattress. These are the issues we had: - the shop assistant wouldn't give us a printed document with the price of the different beds and mattresses we were considering (despite asking)... this was the first red flag. - once we deciced what bed we liked and got prepared to pay, we were charged twice the delivery fee (we had to insist the shop assistant to review the invoice...we didn't pay it t the end). - we were told bed frame and mattress would be delivered at the same time. It didn't happen. We received the mattress two months before. Luckily we had space to store the mattress. - bed took 3 months to be delivered... it was not the bed we choose and we were asked to pay to have delivered the bed we actually choose. Apparently we were told the wrong price from the beginning. The return process was easy but took a while to get the refund. Overall very poor service...

Absolute nightmare experience dealings with Bensons. 5 hours late delivery, no notification, arrived eventually by couriers that proceeded to bang the mattress into everything possible. Parked two streets away and carried mattress (I suspect dragged at times) for two streets as they made poor excuse could not get van to me (rubbish, have had bigger vans down here before and then proceeded to say he was scared to drive into the road in case he could not get out, pathetic), then did not realise it was an exchange and they had to take one away, so ripped my mattress bag open to wrap old mattress in, No shoe protectors, made them take their shoes off and on top of everything mattress was damaged. Customer services absolute diabolical, tried to low ball me with pathetic compensation offer, had to fight to get anything near acceptable for lose of earnings and damage to mattress, but seriously tried to get out of paying anything at all. Never use them again. I was one of 20 drops that day and they informed nobody of anything and when I phoned twice during the day they refused to give me any idea about times and very little information. If I hadn't of phoned I would have known nothing until they showed up 5 hours late. BEWARE they only care about taking your money. Only given one star because I had to, to complete this review.
